This specific portion of land (known as Portion 19) is strategically situated south of the main road to Oshakati on the north-western corner of Ondangwa and covers a total area of 78.6 hectares. The Namib Bou proposal to develop this site was approved by Council and signed on 10 Aug 2007.
Lithon Project Consultants (Pty) Ltd and Urban Dynamics Town and Regional Planners have been assisting Namib Bou with all of the procedures involved in achieving the above position:
  • Organisation and facilitation of consultative meetings with Ondangwa Town council and other 
    public stakeholders.
  • Preparation of a modern and cost effective layout, which is appropriate in scale and
    functionality within the context of Ondangwa.
The total number of marketable residential erven is 978, with 22 of the 978 erven being allocated to existing homesteads within the project area (ext 17, 18, 19 and 20). Ondangwa Town Council will be responsible for the compensation of existing homesteads where applicable.
